This group is for theists from all religions, as well as atheists and agnostics, to debate beliefs and science.
Due to the conflictual nature of the discussions here, some basic rules of conduct apply to all members.
The following will get you banned from the group, and your posts deleted immediately :
- SPAM of any kind.
- Disruptive behavior of any kind (trolling, silencing opposing views, threats of any kind).
The following should be avoided at all costs, and you will be warned and possibly kicked out if you persist :
- Censorship. Do not delete opposing points of view on your posts, or otherwise try to limit discussions. No subject is taboo, and views that may be considered blasphemous or disrespectful by some are explicitly allowed on this forum. Likewise, do NOT delete your own posts along with their threads without first seeking the approval of a moderator. Let the moderators do the policing.
- Direct personal attacks. Attack the argument, not the person making it.
- Preaching. We're trying to have debates here. Telling people they are going to Hell if they are not joining your clique is not the point of this community.
- Plagiarism (claiming somebody else's words as your own). If you quote something that you didn't write yourself, clearly credit the original source and include a reference or a link.
- Auto-playing media. It is just horribly annoying. Don't include music or videos that start without user intervention in your posts.
And some general recommendations :
- If you are not willing to have your most cherished beliefs directly challenged, do not join this group or post on it. There are better places for you.
- Try to write coherent English sentences.
- You may want to keep your posts concise if you expect most people to read them.
- Please try to stay on topic.
